Uvalde Police on Monday arrested the guardian of one of the children slain in the Robb Elementary School shooting and charged the man with disrupting a county commissioners meeting. Brett Cross, guardian of 10-year-old shooting victim Uziyah Garcia, was escorted out of the Uvalde County Courthouse after directing a tirade at former Uvalde police lieutenant and current County Commissioner Mariano Pargas Jr. In a video of the confrontation, Cross is seen yelling at Pargas about his motion to approve the minutes of the previous commissioners’ meeting, even though Pragas hadn’t been in attendance.
