The Kimpton Santo luxury hotel grabbed headlines early last week when it unveiled a slew of steep discounts to celebrate its San Antonio debut. It now appears some of those discounts were a little too good to be true — at least according to an updated press release the boutique hotel’s media liaison sent out Wednesday. For example, an offer of half-off dinners on Sundays through Thursdays through September at Dean’s Steak & Seafood inside the hotel only applies to guests’ food bill, not their drinks, according to the new release.
